1. Overview
Bearion Co. is the brand name under which THE INDIAN BEAR operates its direct-to-consumer menswear business. We are committed to delivering your order safely, on time and with complete transparency. This Shipping Policy governs all delivery-related terms for orders placed through bearion.co and is compliant with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy. We partner with India's leading logistics providers to ensure reliable service across 27,000+ pin codes.
2. Shipping Coverage
2.1 Domestic Shipping — India
We ship to all states and Union Territories of India, including remote areas serviced by India Post, Delhivery and other last-mile partners. Serviceability is subject to your pin code being within our active delivery network.
To check if your pin code is serviceable, enter it at checkout. If your location is not currently serviceable, please contact us at support@bearion.co and we will endeavour to arrange delivery.
2.2 International Shipping
Bearion Co. currently ships within India only. International shipping to select countries is on our roadmap and will be announced on bearion.co. Customers may subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when international shipping becomes available.

Free Shipping Threshold: Orders with a cart value of ₹999 or above (after applicable discounts) qualify for free standard shipping. Coupon codes and promotional discounts are applied before the threshold is evaluated.
COD Handling Fee: A non-refundable Cash on Delivery handling charge of ₹40 is applicable on all COD orders, irrespective of order value. This fee covers the additional cost of cash reconciliation by our logistics partners.
Express Shipping: Available for select pin codes. Express availability is displayed at checkout. Express orders placed before 12:00 PM IST on business days are dispatched the same day.
4. Order Processing Time
All orders are subject to a processing and packing period before shipment.
• Standard orders: Processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation.
• Express orders: Dispatched same day if placed before 12:00 PM IST on business days; next business day if placed after.
• Orders placed on Sundays and national public holidays are processed on the next business day.
• During peak periods (sale events, festive seasons), processing may take up to 3 business days. This will be communicated on the website.
Business days are Monday to Saturday, excluding national public holidays declared by the Government of India.
You will receive an email and SMS confirmation with your order details at the time of placement, and a separate dispatch notification with your tracking number once the order is handed over to our logistics partner.
5. Estimated Delivery Timelines
Delivery timelines are estimated from the date of dispatch, not from the date of order placement. Actual delivery may vary based on your location, carrier capacity and unforeseen circumstances.

Note: Delivery to remote areas, restricted zones and areas affected by natural disasters, civil unrest, or infrastructure disruptions may experience additional delays. Bearion Co. is not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.
6. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive:
• An email notification with your Air Waybill (AWB) number and a tracking link
• An SMS notification to your registered mobile number with the same details
• WhatsApp notification (if opted in during checkout)
You can track your order through any of the following channels:
• Bearion Co. website: bearion.co/pages/track-order
• Carrier website: Directly on the logistics partner's tracking portal using your AWB number

If your tracking information has not been updated for more than 72 hours after dispatch, please contact us immediately for an investigation.
7. Cash on Delivery (COD)
7.1 COD Availability
Cash on Delivery is available for orders up to ₹5,000 (including the COD handling fee of ₹40) for eligible pin codes. COD availability is displayed at checkout based on your delivery pin code.
7.2 COD Payment
• Please keep the exact amount ready at the time of delivery. Our delivery partners may not carry change.
• COD payment must be made in Indian Rupees (INR) only.
• Digital payment via QR code may be offered by some carrier partners at the time of delivery; however, this is at the carrier's discretion and not guaranteed.
7.3 COD Refusal Policy
If you refuse to accept a COD delivery without a valid reason:
• The item will be returned to our warehouse.
• Forward shipping charges (₹79–₹199) may be deducted from future store credits or charged to you.
• Repeated COD refusals may result in COD being disabled for your account, as permitted under our fraud prevention policy.
• If you no longer wish to receive the order, please contact us at orders@bearion.co before the delivery attempt to cancel and initiate the return process.
8. Failed Delivery Attempts & Undelivered Orders
8.1 Failed Delivery Attempts
Our logistics partners will make up to 3 delivery attempts for each order. After 3 unsuccessful attempts, the shipment will be held at the nearest carrier facility for up to 5 business days before being returned to us.
Please ensure your registered delivery address and mobile number are accurate and active. We are not liable for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete address details provided at the time of order.
8.2 Re-delivery
If you wish to have an undelivered order re-shipped after it has been returned to our warehouse:
• You will be required to pay fresh shipping charges (₹79 for standard, ₹199 for express).
• For COD orders, the payment mode will be converted to prepaid for re-delivery.
• Re-delivery is subject to stock availability. If the item is out of stock, a full refund will be issued.
8.3 Returned to Origin (RTO)
If a shipment is returned to our warehouse due to failed delivery, address issues or refusal:
• For prepaid orders: A full refund (less original shipping charges where applicable) will be processed within 7–10 business days of the item being received back at our warehouse.
• For COD orders: The order will be cancelled and no charges will be levied on the customer (since payment was not collected).
9. Damaged, Lost or Tampered Shipments
9.1 Damaged or Tampered Packaging
If your order arrives with visibly damaged or tampered packaging, do not accept the delivery. Mark the delivery as "Refused – Damaged" with the courier person and contact us immediately at support@bearion.co.
If you have already accepted the delivery and later discovered damage to the product, contact us within 48 hours with:
• Clear photographs of the outer packaging (all sides)
• Photographs of the damaged product
• Your order number and AWB number
We will arrange a replacement or full refund as appropriate at no cost to you.
9.2 Lost in Transit
A shipment is considered lost in transit if there is no delivery update for more than 10 business days after dispatch (15 days for remote locations). In such cases:
• We will file a Non-Delivery Report (NDR) with our logistics partner.
• An investigation will be initiated within 2 business days.
• If the shipment is confirmed lost, a full replacement will be dispatched or a complete refund will be issued within 7 business days of confirmation.
Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, you are entitled to a remedy for goods not delivered within the promised timeframe.
10. Shipping Restrictions
Certain items or destinations may be subject to shipping restrictions in compliance with applicable Indian law:
• Restricted Areas: Deliveries to certain areas in Jammu & Kashmir, border regions and active conflict zones may be restricted or delayed based on government directives.
• Bulk / Commercial Orders: Orders of 10 or more units of the same SKU may require additional processing time and may be subject to commercial shipping rates. Contact bulk@bearion.co for assistance.
• Embargo Periods: During natural calamities, elections, festivals or events causing logistical disruptions, deliveries may be delayed. We will communicate any such disruptions proactively.
11. Sustainable Shipping
At Bearion Co., we are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our deliveries:
• All orders are shipped in 100% recycled kraft paper mailers — no single-use plastic.
• Inner packaging uses compostable poly bags certified to EN 13432 standards.
• We consolidate items within an order into a single shipment wherever possible to reduce carbon footprint.
• We are actively working with our logistics partners to introduce carbon-neutral last-mile delivery options.
12. Your Rights & Our Obligations Under Indian Law
Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020: We are required to display accurate information about the dispatch and delivery timelines at the time of purchase. Any failure to deliver within the promised timeline entitles you to a full refund.
Consumer Protection Act, 2019: You have the right to seek compensation for any loss or damage caused by deficiency in our delivery service.
Legal Metrology Act, 2009: All our packages carry mandatory declarations in accordance with the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011.
