RETURN, EXCHANGE & REFUND POLICY

1. Overview
Bearion Co. (operated by THE INDIAN BEAR., hereinafter referred to as "we", "us" or "our") is committed to ensuring complete satisfaction with every purchase. This policy governs all returns, exchanges and refunds for orders placed through bearion.co and is compliant with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms of this policy. We reserve the right to update this policy at any time; the version in effect at the time of your purchase shall apply.
2. Return & Exchange Window
Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery if the product is unused and in original condition.
We offer a 7-day return and exchange window from the date of delivery. Requests received after 7 days from delivery will not be accepted, except in cases of manufacturing defects or wrong items received.
For items marked as "Final Sale" or purchased at a discount greater than 50%, only exchange is permitted — no refund.
3. Return & Exchange Eligibility
3.1 Eligible for Return / Exchange
• Items in original, unworn and unwashed condition with all tags intact
• Items in original packaging (poly bag, dust bag, tissue paper) wherever applicable
• Manufacturing defects — loose stitching, colour bleeding, fabric tears
• Wrong size, colour or product delivered
• Items significantly different from the product description on the website
• Incomplete orders — missing items from a multi-item shipment
3.2 Not Eligible for Return / Exchange
• Items that have been worn, washed, altered, dry-cleaned or damaged by the customer
• Items with removed, damaged or missing tags
• Items with visible stains, odours or signs of use
• Innerwear, socks, and accessories for hygiene reasons
• Items purchased during "Final Sale" or warehouse clearance events (unless defective)
• Gift cards and store credits
• Items returned without prior authorisation from our team
• Customised or personalised orders
4. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Step 1 — Raise a Request
Email returns@bearion.co or WhatsApp +91-9570242488 within 7 days of delivery. Include:
• Your order number (e.g., #BC10001)
• Item(s) you wish to return or exchange
• Reason for return (size issue, defective, wrong item, etc.)
• Clear photographs of the item (mandatory for defects or wrong items)
Step 2 — Authorisation
Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days. Do not ship items back without receiving a Return Authorisation (RA) from us — unauthorised returns will not be accepted.
Step 3 — Free Pickup
Once approved, our logistics partner will arrange a free pickup from your registered delivery address within 2–3 business days. You are not required to ship the item at your own cost for eligible returns.
If a pickup is not available at your pincode, we will share a prepaid shipping label. In exceptional cases, you may be requested to self-ship; reasonable courier charges (up to ₹150) will be reimbursed as store credit.
Step 4 — Quality Check
All returned items undergo a quality inspection at our warehouse within 1–2 business days of receipt. If the item fails quality check (signs of use, missing tags, damage), it will be returned to you at your cost and the return will be rejected.
Step 5 — Refund or Exchange
Once the quality check is passed, your refund or replacement will be processed within the timelines specified in Section 6.
5. Exchange Policy
We offer free exchanges for a different size or colour of the same product, subject to availability. Each order is eligible for one exchange per item.
• If the desired size or colour is unavailable, you may choose a different product of equal or lesser value, or receive a full refund.
• If the replacement product is of higher value, you will need to pay the price difference.
• Exchange orders are dispatched within 2 business days of the quality check being passed.
• Sale items are eligible for size exchange only — no colour exchanges or refunds on sale items.
6. Refund Policy
6.1 Refund Method
Refunds are credited to the original payment method used at checkout. If the original payment method is no longer valid (e.g., expired card, closed account), refunds will be issued as Bearion Co. store credit.

Note: Timelines are indicative and may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. RBI guidelines for merchant refunds apply. We have no control over processing delays on the bank's side once the refund has been initiated from our end.
6.3 COD (Cash on Delivery) Refunds
For COD orders, refunds cannot be processed in cash. You will be required to provide bank account details (account number, IFSC code, account holder name) or a UPI ID for the refund to be processed via NEFT, IMPS or UPI transfer within 7–10 working days of return approval.
6.4 Partial Refunds
A partial refund may be issued in the following cases:
• Only some items from an order are returned
• Items show minor signs of handling that affect resale value (determined at our discretion during quality check)
• Promotional discounts applied to the original order — refund will reflect the actual amount paid for the returned item
6.5 Shipping Fee Refunds
• If the original order was delivered with a shipping charge and you are returning all items, the shipping fee is non-refundable.
• If the return is due to a manufacturing defect or an error on our part (wrong item, damaged in transit), the full amount including any shipping fees paid will be refunded.
7. Damaged, Defective or Wrong Items
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. Report any of the following issues within 48 hours of delivery by emailing support@bearion.co with photographs:
• Items damaged in transit (crushed packaging, torn garment)
• Manufacturing defects (stitching failure, colour defects, print issues)
• Wrong item, wrong size or wrong colour delivered
• Incomplete order — items missing from shipment
For such cases, we will arrange an immediate replacement or full refund (including shipping charges) at no cost to you. You will not be required to return the damaged or wrong item in all cases — our team will advise accordingly.
Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, you are entitled to a remedy (repair, replacement or refund) for any product that does not conform to the quality and standards promised at the time of sale.
8. Your Consumer Rights Under Indian Law
As a consumer purchasing from an e-commerce platform operating in India, you are protected by the following legislation:
• Consumer Protection Act, 2019: Right to seek redressal against unfair trade practices and defective goods.
• Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020: E-commerce entities must provide a clear and transparent grievance redressal mechanism.
• Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS): All garments meet applicable quality standards.
• Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011: All product labels carry mandatory declarations including fabric composition, care instructions, country of origin and MRP.

9. Order Cancellation
9.1 Before Shipment
Orders may be cancelled free of charge before the item is handed over to our logistics partner for shipment, typically within 12–24 hours of placement. To cancel, email orders@bearion.co or WhatsApp us immediately with your order number.
9.2 After Shipment
Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. You may initiate a return after delivery as per the terms above.
9.3 COD Order Refusal at Delivery
Repeatedly refusing COD deliveries without valid reasons may result in COD being restricted on your account. If you no longer want the item, please contact us before the delivery attempt so we can cancel the shipment and avoid unnecessary logistics costs.
10. Fraud Prevention & Policy Misuse
THE INDIAN BEAR. reserves all the right to reject returns and restrict accounts in cases of suspected policy misuse, including but not limited to:
• Returning used, worn or washed items as unused
• Returning a different item from what was ordered
• Excessive return activity indicative of wardrobing (ordering with intent to wear and return)
• Providing false information to obtain refunds or replacements
Such actions may constitute an offence under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and we reserve the right to pursue legal remedies.
